Maxicam opens the doors to it's new purpose built manufacturing facility

Having started manufacturing CNC routers in 2000 Maxicam has grown at an astonishing rate of 90% per year and currently produces 400 machines per month across the range. To continue to grow the business whilst developing the cutting edge technology it was essential to relocate from the previous four factories in to a purpose built fully automated facility.

The new premises has been a huge success and is celebrating one year since relocation. To continue the companies succes the new site consists of four new buildings. The buildng shown above is the main manufacturing facility where machines from the Advanced, Professional, EPS and 5-Axis Series are manufactured. Opposite the main building is the main production facility for the smaller engraving/routing machines from the Compact and Scan Series. Maxicam now also has a purpose built office block incorporating the brand new research and development centre and the sales and management offices

Behind the main manufacturing facility there is also brand new spare parts store as well as state of the art paint facilities. Maixcam now retains total control over it's manufacturing process' and with the introduction of two brand new Hision, double column 5-sided steel-work machining centres at 3m x 5m bed size, with an accuracy of 0.02mm over the entire working area, the quality of Maxicam's machines is guarenteed. http://www.hision.com
